"The tour was great and Rita was fantastic. She has great energy and is very knowledgeable about the region and about Port wine. We enjoyed all 3 wineries. If there was one critique, it would be that the tour, as arranged is too focused on Port and less on the Douro Valley wines. While we enjoyed learning about and tasting the various Port’s, we would have preferred more focus on table wines."

"Really enjoyed all aspects of our Douro Valley wine tour. Our driver/guide, Steve, was excellent. Very knowledgeable about the region and the wine making process. He put a group of strangers at ease right away and contributed to a great day. It is a full day, close to 9 hours, in part because it takes about 90 minutes to get there. We had a coffee stop, a couple of stops for pictures, 2 wineries stops with tours and tastings, plus a great lunch at a third stop with tastings and a tour to round out the day. We particularly enjoyed the stop at Quinta Dos Castelares for the tour & tastings. The Douro Valley is truly a must see and this was a great way to do it."
