"excellent tour and superb guide. only comments would be that the food wasn't hot in the restaurant and it would have been good to have been outside. everything else was excellent. lovely wine!"

"Leanor was a great tour guide and we really enjoyed all the history and the food. I would recommend her to anyone."
"Rosa was a great and knowledgeable guide. We loved that she spoke different language including Portuguese, English and French. The tour itself was worth the price and the pace was perfect. We had to enjoy the food, the walking tour and the cultural aspects of it."
"Our guide Mara was excellent. She was so knowledgable , friendly and engaged with the group really well, explaining the interesting history of Madeira and its food and drinks. We started with a sample of traditional biscuits and cake from a local shop , followed by a leisurely lunch with wine which was delicious & an opportunity to get to know other members of our group who were from various countries . There were further stops for coffee and cake , bolo de caco , and finished off by a freshly made poncha or nikita ( combination of wine, beer and ice cream) which was great despite sounding a bit strange! We would recommend this tour as a great way to gain knowledge of a lovely place."
"It was really good. The guide was extremely knowledgeable with a great sense of humour. The tour was well paced with plenty of stops. Food for tasting was superb and plentiful. The tasting lunch was great, looking out over the ocean."
