"Fabio made the day memorable to say the least! We learned so much about his family and about running a farm in Portugal. As avid gardeners, we were very interested to learn about his planting and harvesting practices. The meals were delicious - we loved that the vibe of the experience was very low key and relaxed. Fabio showed his experience in cooking traditional meals and made sure to use his own vegetables- which was a treat! Lastly, we had our 10 month old son with us and my father in law commented that Fabio went out of his way to acknowledge each person - including our son! A real pleasure to share a meal together"
"We had an incredible day on Fabio’s family farm - this authentic experience is a must do for anyone visiting the Porto/Douro Valley region. We were able to pick fresh ingredients from the farm, meet his farm animals (a favorite part for my 20 month old son), and help cook the most delicious meal and desserts. Fabio’s passion and resilience for rebuilding his farm property after a devastating fire less than 2 years ago is inspiring and we can’t wait to come back and visit again!"

He is so kind and patient with children who are obsessed with his animals (my children:) and is the most fabulous chef. Lunch was divine with the best bread and cheese I can remember. We picked lettuce and strawberries, played with the chickens and cooked the most delicious meal. This is an experience not to be missed.
